We believe that "church" is actually a community of people that are called out of the world to make a difference in the world. That means that church isn't a building but a people! Church isn't only what happens on a Sunday morning, church is 24/7.

As such we often share meals together (first Sunday in the month as a whole church), meet during the week both formally and informally.

We have all kinds of people who make up our church community:

Life groups are the community core of the church & operate out of homes  during the week.

During our Sunday morning service we run Children's Church for ages 5/6 -11 and a Creché for ages 2-5. The lessons include fun and games but focus on teaching the Bible. Children go through the passage of the Bible that the adults have studied in the previous weeks church service to encourage children and parents to discuss the Bible lesson.

Parents are required to sign children in and out of both classes. All our children's workers are police checked.

Our youth group called "Thirst" is made up of young adults 11-16 years of age and meet weekly on a Friday at 7pm-9pm. Tanith & Andy lead this group in applying the Bible to their lives. The group also arrange social events and outreach events.

Students are made to feel at home at Calvary. If you're a student looking for a church family please contact one of our student reps:
