The following defines
our history, beliefs and philosophy of ministry to our church
family and community:
 |
|
Calvary
Chapel
is a non-denominational evangelical Christian church
that began with twenty-five people in California in 1965 and was a
key church that reached out to the youth of the counter-culture,
the drug users and hippies. The outreach later become known as the
Jesus Movement as God gave the increase and thousands gave their
lives to Christ.

At Calvary Chapel we believe in all the fundamental doctrines of the evangelical Protestant church. For example, we believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

 |
| We’ve
never endeavoured to become a church that had a lot of programs
and activities. Rather, our desire is to be yielded to what God
wants to do through the unique gifts and talents of the
individuals that make up Calvary Chapel. We believe that the
church is God’s instrument to equip the saints, and reach the
lost. |
